Message :In two months, I'll still be going to the gym, while 99% of them won't be.
Exactly. Some of them will have enjoyed the benefit of finding that determination to stay. Now multiply those 15 peopel at your gym who still go come April, and multiply that by the 200 (arbitrary number) some gyms in your state and then multiply that by 50 states. Thats ALOT of damn peopel who have found the determination to continue goign to the gym...And the fact that you even admit that some peope *do* go really nullifies your argument anyway.

:If more people saw it the way I did, maybe they'd stick with the program instead of dropping out and getting fatter. That's probably why the majority of people in the USA are overweight, while I'm not.

You missed my meaning. People think differently. Everyone here has a different thought process, everyone has a different way of doing things, looking at them. It is silly to think that just because you think what you do, means you can categorize and determine if a person will succeed or if they should even try. Maybe it takes a person 4 New Years to finally turn going to the gym into a solid habit. So what? Its been accomplished, and in a form that you didnt seem to have the scope to think was possible.

:Here's one for you- while all these people who think like you keep setting "road markers", futilely trying to lose weight, I'm actually trying to *gain* weight right now. That's the benefit of thinking the way I do. And it's not just me, if you ask the regulars (ie fit people) at the gym, they'd tell you the same thing.

I dont set road markers personally and have been involved in more athletic activity tham most humans can say they ever were. I simply am teaching you that your representation of life is far from full.

:But why listen to me? I'm outnumbered here. Fat people can take solice in the fact that most people don't think the way I do- the majority thinks the way they do. But that majority is also fat just like them, while I'm not, so maybe that should tell you something.

I dont think you are worth listening to, on almost any level, based on your lack of vision. I also dont think fat people have the right to become offended when someone remarks on their obesity. In fact, if my significant other became fat...Id probably end the relationship
